You Are Not In China Until You Get Cheated Once By Chinese

So, this is my second year in China, but only after today, I've official 'been' to China. I've been cheated, heavily, by a bunch of Chinese and trust me, it is scarier than any ghost costumes you can find on Halloween (it is Halloween today btw).

The lady who approached me was the lady in pink sweater.

I was just taking a walk on a busy street when a lady approached me with a card saying I can redeem free facial care product as an opening gift of the 'new' facial spa center. So... I followed. I have to admit that I am greedy at that time I thought that I will be smart enough not to pay for anything. When we reached the shop, everything seems fine and normal, until they asked me to lie down on a bed, said they will help me to do a free face check-up to help me find out my face skin condition. Here's how it went,

The shop just after the escalator in a shopping mall. 

1. Cleansing and moisturizing of the face.
2. Expelling of 'toxic' in the face. (This is where I hit the wall) They start to apply something with a machine on my forehead, and ask me to hold a mirror and look at my face as they apply the lotion. Almost immediately, the place where the machine contact with became blue black, which they said was the 'toxic' that came out from my face! They begin explaining that these 'toxic couldn't be washed away with water, they have a special product that has to be used in order to remove the black area, the product would cost me RMB988. I argued for a little, because it is so overpriced! While I was talking, my face is all covered with the 'toxic'! At this point, I am more worried of my face than the money, like seriously. So I agreed on paying just so that I can get out of this place as fast as possible. I took out my bank card, (Feel like punching myself in the face while I am writing this)
3.  So, they start removing the 'toxic' outta my face, Here comes the other scam. :( It can't be wiped off! because apparently, my facial condition is too bad. they kept asking me to do another treatment, I couldn't really recall what they said anymore, I was FRIGHTEN. The full treatment will cost me RMB1998. I remembered myself arguing, a lot, but I just couldn't win. No matter how hard I tried.

So eventually, I gave the hell up. I just wanted to go home, it's been a really long and hard day for me. They said the price that I've paid allow me to get FOC treatment from the same shop for 8 years. But screw it, I am never ever going near this place, EVER. After that, I went to the police station to report this. I am really not surprised that the police officer on duty actually known about this, knows even better than I do! Sadly, there's nothing they can do about it. And this is how I got cheated in China...
